Terms of Use
These terms set out the rules for using UniCentre's election management system.
Acceptance
By accessing or using the system, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Accounts and access
The app is invite-only. Only users who have been invited and authorised by the organisation may create or use an account. You must keep your login details secure, use the system only within the access granted to you, provide accurate information, and tell your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
Call Center users and company phones
Call Center access is available only to authorised users who have signed the required contract before using the app. Call Center users must use company-issued phones. The contract grants the company the right to monitor work-related call logs, as permitted by applicable law.
To use Call Center features, users must grant Call Log permission. This allows the app to record and report call activity needed to track calls made, answered, rejected, missed, call duration, and callbacks. Refusing or revoking this permission may prevent use of Call Center features.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the system, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use it in a way that infringes another person's rights. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you enter and the way you use the system comply with applicable laws and your organisation's policies.
Optional calendar sync
Calendar sync is optional. If you choose to connect your Google account, you authorise the system to create, update, and delete events that it synchronises in your connected primary Google Calendar. You can disconnect this feature at any time.
Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep the system available and accurate, but it may be changed, interrupted, or unavailable from time to time. Features that rely on third parties, including Google Calendar, are also subject to those providers' availability and terms.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the system is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms by posting a revised version here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. For questions about these terms or your access, contact the organisation that provided your account.
